Dr Kalvin Vuong
Chiropractor
Hi, my name is Kalvin.
I graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Master of Chiropractic. Prior to this, I also completed a Diploma of Remedial Massage.
My passion for chiropractic began from practicing martial arts and learning the movement of the human body. I grew up being surrounded by friends and mentors who are passionate about helping others improve their overall health. This has influenced me to pursue a career in chiropractic health because it is great seeing people feel and become physically better.
My interests in what I do includes managing a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries such as headaches, neck, low back, knee, shoulder, and hip pain; as well as sport-related injuries.
I have experience with treating a variety of different people including the elderly, corporate workers, and athletes. I have treated AFL, football, and rugby players throughout my years of study which has helped me develop a deeper understanding of sport-related injuries.
As a Chiropractor, my approach to helping patients regain optimal function and returning to their daily activities sooner is by using evidence-based chiropractic treatments together with manual-therapy, exercise regimes and patient education. My treatment involves soft tissue work, remedial therapy, chiropractic adjustments, mobilizations as well as postural care with ergonomic advice and rehabilitative exercises.
To strengthen my skills and experience in my field, I am always learning by continuously honing my skills through a wide variety of workshops, courses, and seminars throughout the years.
I fluently speak English, Cantonese, and Vietnamese.
Outside of work, my hobbies include competitive Dodgeball, table tennis, martial arts, and training at the gym.
