Victor Lam

Physiotherapist

From an early age I was fascinated with how stuff works. Individual moving parts that together create one fluid system in harmony. That combined with a penchant for playing sports (badly) – I suppose it was destined that I would end up as a physiotherapist.

I have been a physiotherapist since 2014, after graduating from The University of Sydney. Since then I have amassed considerable experience across the spectrum of healthcare settings – public and private hospital, rehabilitation, community, private, NDIS, and Workers’ Compensation/CTP. My experience also extends internationally, previously working in the UK healthcare system.

I have an insatiable interest in human anatomy and its mechanisms of movement. This, alongside an innate and enduring desire to help people optimise their health to the best of their abilities, is my passion.

My treatment methodology encompasses biological, physical and psychosocial domains of health. I am interested in managing all musculoskeletal conditions of the body and uncovering the aspects of your life that may be contributing to your pain or limitation.

Movement is my medicine. I have dabbled in various sports across my lifetime: basketball, soccer, running, volleyball, badminton, tennis, powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting, to name some, and on top of that an avid hiker/explorer and world traveller. I am dedicated to working with you to help you achieve all your movement goals.
